West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in disbelief after David Ginola made a claim about Tottenham talisman Harry Kane.

The former Spurs man told talkSPORT that he thinks the 27-year-old might be tempted to join another club in London.

Ginola adds that a London-based side who can offer Champions League football could be a potential destination for Kane.

As things stand, West Ham would fall into that category.

The east Londoners currently sit fourth in the Premier League, with only seven games remaining of the current campaign.

After hearing the Frenchman suggest a club like West Ham could be a potential destination for the £200,000-a-week striker, the Irons supporters took to Twitter in disbelief.

Even if David Moyes does guide the Hammers into the Champions League, there is simply no way they can afford the 53-cap England international.

According to The Sun, Daniel Levy will refuse to sell his biggest asset to a Premier League rival. Spurs will also charge £175 million to foreign clubs interested in their No.10.

It feels unfathomable that David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady would even spend £50 million on a striker right now, let alone £175 million.

Let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about Ginola’s comments…
