‘Can’t be real’: Arsenal fans shocked by Fernandes’s deleted tweet about Martinelli

Arsenal fans were left shocked on Twitter by the now-deleted message from Bruno Fernandes following Manchester United’s defeat to Manchester City. 

It seems as though the Manchester United playmaker has the same PR team as Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli.

On Fernandes’s social accounts, they posted a picture of the Arsenal man with all smiles in training and added in the caption ‘good vibes’.

All of that was quickly deleted, but not quick enough for people to take screenshots and notice what happened.

The Arsenal faithful just couldn’t believe what they were seeing, as others laughed at the blunder and were glad it wasn’t the other way around.

What makes matters worse is that it comes hours after Man United’s defeat in the derby. 

If things were on the up for Fernandes, he was playing well and Man United were winning, then perhaps, just perhaps, from his perspective, he could see the funny side. 

But all of this will just raise the question as to why players don’t control their own social accounts.

At least the supporters now know that Martinelli shares the same PR team as the Portugal superstar.

And even some of the Arsenal faithful will probably be disappointed at that, but then again, many of the top footballers probably do.
