Rangers winger Daniel Candeias has told The Scottish Sun that his Ibrox teammate Alfredo Morelos is the best striker he has ever played with.

Portuguese winger Candeias joined Rangers from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £700,000.

Colombia international striker Morelos has been on the books of Rangers from HJK in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £1.5 million.

The 30-year-old winger has spoken highly of the 22-year-old Colombian striker.

Candeias told The Scottish Sun: “I played with Vagner Love in Turkey and he is a great striker. But I think Morelos is the best striker.

“He can still improve because he is only 22. For Alfredo, there is a path to become even better.”
