The Hammers’ hierarchy are already looking at replacements for the Scot, with Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez, Huddersfield Town’s David Wagner and Marco Silva all on the shortlist.
Yet could the summer be the perfect time for West Ham to finally appoint a coach they have been linked with for a long time in Slavisa Jokanovic?
Jokanovic guided current side Fulham to the Championship playoffs last season and after a shaky start this term, has the West Londoners back up in fifth at the moment having won their last five league matches.

Back in August when rumours of Bilic getting the sack were gaining momentum, the Express claimed that the Serbian was well thought of at the London Stadium and was being lined up as their next manager.
Regardless of what the Cottagers do for the rest of 2017/18, maybe once Moyes leaves it will finally be the perfect time to appoint Jokanovic.
