West Ham United completed their first signing under manager David Moyes when Joao Mario joined on loan from Inter Milan, but more deals are expected before the January transfer window closes.
However, it seems more likely that there will be departures, with Diafra Sakho having already left the London Stadium to join Rennes in an £8m deal.

Meanwhile, the Sun says that Swansea City are prepared to pay £18m to re-sign Andre Ayew just 18 months after selling the forward to the Hammers for £20.5m.
The same report also outlines that Javier Hernandez, who has struggled for form following a summer switch from Bayer Leverkusen, could also be leaving with Besiktas interested.

Yet with Marko Arnautovic and Andy Carroll both currently sidelined with injuries – the latter for three months – can Moyes really afford to lose so many options in attack?
Ayew may not have greatly impressed since arriving in East London from Swansea but unless a replacement can be quickly found, are West Ham better off sticking with the Ghana international until the summer at least?
