Tottenham Hotspur face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals next month, can they win it?
Last night’s win over Bolton Wanderers was a low-key affair, compared to the events of the original game which saw Fabrice Muamba suffer a cardiac arrest.
The game finished 3-1, with goals from Gareth Bale, Ryan Nelsen, and Louis Saha for the home side, with Kevin Davies netting Bolton’s late consolation.
While disappointed at their exit, Bolton have more important issues to deal with at present, namely retaining their Premier League status.
For Tottenham meanwhile, the prospect of finishing the season with silverware in their trophy cabinet is a welcome boost.
The last two months have been galling for fans, who have seen their side surrender up a 10 point gap over rivals Arsenal, to now sit three points behind.
They may be without a win in five league games, featuring three losses and two draws, but after last night’s game, they are also unbeaten in three matches.
The game will give the club renewed confidence, but there is still a big job to be done before Harry Redknapp even thinks about lifting the FA Cup for the second time.
Spurs face Chelsea in the semi-finals, and if they get through that, they would have to face Liverpool or Everton in the final.
It looks tougher than ever, and the final four is the most competitive for many a year, but if they do win it, fans will end the season with a smile on their face.
For if Arsenal do finish above them in third, sure they will have bragging rights in terms of league position, but what Arsenal fans would dearly love is a trophy.
Arsenal have not won any silverware since the FA Cup in 2005, while Tottenham won the Carling Cup in 2008.
Would fans rather win the FA Cup or finish third? With a five point gap over Chelsea for fourth position, Tottenham will be confident of a Champions league place for next season, providing Chelsea do not shock everybody by winning the Champions League.

Spurs fans, would you rather win the FA Cup or finish third?
