The two Sheffield clubs are battling it out to escape League One. Who will emerge victorious.
With three games to go there is all to play for in League One.
Charlton Athletic clinched promotion this weekend, a credit to manager Chris Powell, with the side already accruing 94 points.
After that, the race for second place, and the final automatic promotion spot is hotting up, and is being contested by two fierce rivals.
In the red and white corner- Sheffield United – on 88 points.
In the blue and white corner- Sheffield Wednesday – on 84 points.
United pulled four points clear this weekend, winning 3-1 at home to Leyton Orient, while Wednesday stumbled- drawing 1-1 at Colchester.
It is not over yet though, with tricky fixtures ahead for the Blades.
United travel to play-off chasing MK Dons on Saturday, who sit in fourth on 74 points.
It will be a match which if they win, they should be almost assured of second spot and automatic promotion, but anything less and they will increase the pressure on themselves going into the final games and let Wednesday back in.
Then they host ninth placed Stevenage, who still have an outside shot of the play-offs, and then travel to second bottom Exeter City on the final day.
Wednesday meanwhile also have a tough game at home to 7th placed Carlisle this weekend, before traveling to 8th placed Brentford and then hosting relegation battlers Wycombe Wanderers on the final day, who will need a result.
If Wednesday have any chance of catching United they will need to ensure maximum points and pray for a MK Dons win this weekend.
It could happen, but they may just rue dropping two points away to 10th placed Colchester this weekend.
If they miss out, they could still win the play-offs of course, ensuring a double celebration across the Steel City, continuing their rivalry into the Championship for next season.
But as we all know, the play-offs are not to be trusted, and the roll call of sides who finish third who blow their chances is ever-growing.
What do you think- have United got it sewn up or can Wednesday pull off a surprise late fightback?
