The winger could make a big difference as Leeds aim for promotion.
With Leeds United seeking to perform consistently as they look to secure a place in the Championship play-offs, manager Thomas Christiansen will be looking for each member of his squad to make a significant contribution.
Kemar Roofe is clearly a major part of Christiansen’s plans, with the winger having featured frequently for Leeds this season and he will now be hoping to become a regular on the scoresheet.
Roofe hit a hat-trick in the 3-1 victory away to Queens Park Rangers recently but was unable to find the net in the victory against Norwich City at the weekend.
The 24-year-old has scored six goals in 18 Championship appearances so far this season, which isn’t a bad return, but Christiansen will now be looking for Roofe to become more prolific in front of goal.
Roofe has already bettered his tally of last season, when he scored three times in the Championship, and he is now playing with great confidence, frequently getting into dangerous attacking areas.
Certainly capable of making a major impact for Leeds in front of goal, Roofe is a talented player and if he can just start to score with a little more regularity then it could prove to be the difference in Leeds’ quest to earn promotion.
