The West Bromwich Albion defender has been out of the team in recent weeks.

Allan Nyom has usually been a regular in the West Bromwich Albion starting lineup since joining the club from Watford in 2016, but of late the defender has found himself in the unusual situation of being a substitute.
Nyom, who also relishes bursting forward when the opportunity arises, is most comfortable at right-back but is also capable of making an impact when deployed in the opposite full-back berth.

For much of this season Nyom has been involved in the starting lineup but in recent weeks Craig Dawson has been selected ahead of him at right-back, while, with Kieran Gibbs featuring frequently at left-back there is little chance of the former Cameroon international being deployed there.
It seems that Alan Pardew has settled on his first-choice full-back pairing as West Brom look to avoid relegation from the Premier League and Nyom, at present, doesn’t have a major part to play in his plans.

This certainly seems to be the right decision as, although Nyom offers much in the way of energy and enthusiasm, his performance levels often leave a lot to be desired.
Regardless of where he plays, Nyom is guilty of frequently squandering possession, while he is also prone to lapses in concentration.
Dawson certainly represents an improvement on Nyom, with the latter not a player that can be heavily relied upon in a battle for survival.
