Can Ahamada play for Crystal Palace against Manchester United? Many fans have been wondering after his £10.5m arrival from VfB Stuttgart.
The 20-year-old signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the south Londoners on transfer deadline day as Albert Sambi Lokonga also arrived on loan from Arsenal.
However, a number of Crystal Palace fans are unsure if Ahamada can play against Manchester United on Saturday after he was sent off in his final game for VfB Stuttgart.
So, can Ahamada play for Crystal Palace against Manchester United? Let’s take a look…
Can Ahamada play for Crystal Palace against Manchester United?
Well, Ahamada experienced an eventful finale to his time at VfB Stuttgart, drawing 2-2 against TSG Hoffenheim.
The Frenchman assisted both goals for his old side, before receiving a second yellow card in the 78th minute just five minutes after his first booking for jumping into the stands to celebrate with supporters.
Despite that, Ahamada is able to make his debut for Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Had it been a straight red card, and consequently a three-match ban rather than the one-game suspension which comes after two yellow cards, the new Crystal Palace No.29 would have been made to wait for his debut.
That is because suspensions carry over after a transfer between two sides partaking at the same level, in this instance top-flight football.
The FA’s guide to suspensions reads: “Where a player moves to a new club at the same level of football, the suspension is transferred to the new club and the FA need to be informed of the change.”
However, Ahamada was technically still a VfB Stuttgart player during their 2-1 defeat to RB Leipzig on Friday 27th January, so his one-match ban was officially served after full-time in that Bundesliga clash.
Therefore, if Patrick Vieira sees fit to use him, the Marseille-born maestro can play against Manchester United.
