Both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are above Manchester United in the Premier League table at the moment.

Manchester United are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment. The Red Devils have picked up 52 points from 27 matches so far this season, four fewer than Liverpool, who have played 29 games.
United’s chances of winning the Premier League title are over, but can they get into the top four? Yes, they can.
If Jose Mourinho’s side win their game in hand, then they will be just four points behind second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Not only is a finish in the top four very much within reach of United, but they can also claim the second spot if they put together a run of positive results in the coming weeks, which is why Sir Alex Ferguson’s comments make sense.
The Daily Express has quoted the former United manager as saying that the Red Devils are fighting for the positions behind Chelsea with Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool.
“At the moment the Premier League is a real fight for the positions behind Chelsea with Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, ourselves,” The Daily Express quotes Ferguson as saying.
“It’s not going to be easy to get into the top four. They could do it but I look on the Europa League as a great chance.”
United should be taking the Europa League seriously, but at the same time, they should not discount their chances of catching Tottenham in second place.
