The Dutch winger joined the Swans from PSV Eindhoven last Thursday.
Dutch international forward Luciano Narsingh became the first signing of the Paul Clement era at Swansea City, last Thursday.
With The Swans’ continuing struggle to evade the clutches of the relegation zone, the £4m move for the 26 year-old winger – as reported by The Guardian – is Clement’s first roll of the dice to avoid the drop to the Sky Bet Championship. But can Narsingh make an impression?

After snatching three points versus Crystal Palace two weeks ago, a weekend 4-0 humbling to Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium was a stark reminder that The Swans are still deep in the relegation mire.
Any doubts the new Swansea boss had of his side’s shortcomings were greatly exposed. The arrival of Narsingh then, becomes an even more vital ingredient in Swansea’s battle against a now unerring swell of tide.
With Swansea lacking any real effective pace and width, a move for the PSV winger is with a view to bring their much-maligned strikers into play.

Whilst the Swans defence continues to leak goals – now having conceded at least three goals this season on 11 separate occasions – rewards are now needed as a necessity at the opposite end of the field.
Luciano Narsingh was part of the same PSV side with Memphis Depay before the latter’s move to Manchester United 18 months.
Scoring 21 goals over the past five season, may not be an explosive tally by any means, but with the ability to run at defences, the winger could yet be a useful asset.
Having scored versus England at Wembley in March of last year, the 26 year-old has a chance to make a different impression in England to that of Memphis.

Pacey wingers have been a key facet of Swansea’s play since gaining promotion back in 2011. From Nathan Dyer right the way through to Jefferson Montero, each has had their own spells of success at the club.
As even the Ecuadorian’s impact has been quelled, Paul Clement is in need a new approach. Luciano Narsingh could be just that.
Whilst it would be true to say that the signing of the 16-cap Dutch international is a hiding to nothing, Swansea fans will be hoping his pace can give their side an extra edge in the attacking department, as they stare down the barrel of relegation.
