Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a promising young striker in Ryan Hardie – and he could get a lot better over the next 12 months.
Legendary Rangers hitman Kenny Miller looks like he might be on the brink of getting a new job.
The 38-year-old striker endured a somewhat acrominous departure from Ibrox after he and Lee Wallace were suspended for a verbal assault on then-manager Graeme Murty following a Scottish Cup semi-final demolition by Old Firm rivals Celtic at Hampden Park in April.
However, the evergreen centre-forward isn’t hanging up his boots just yet and, according to BBC Sport, is on the verge of becoming player-manager of Livingston.

Interestingly, Ryan Hardie, who joined the Championship club on loan from Rangers earlier this month, is one of the players who Miller will manage, and it will be fascinating to see if Hardie can return to Ibrox a much better striker as a result of playing under the 69-cap Scotland international.
Miller has well over 100 Scottish league goals under his belt and 21-year-old Hardie, very much at the start of his senior career, could learn a thing or two from such an experienced goalscorer.
Blues boss Steven Gerrard obviously rates Hardie, evident by the fact that he signed him up to a new deal just before farming him out.
And the iconic midfielder will be hoping that a season-long stint under Miller can do wonders for the youngster.
