Manchester City are reportedly tracking Celtic youth goalkeeper Rory Mahady, with the Premier League champions watching the youngster on multiple occasions.
According to Football Scotland, the English giants are keeping tabs on the 15-year-old shot-stopper. Mahady is considered one of Celtic’s best talents, and City could make a move for the teenager.
The Manchester side have dabbled in the Scottish market in recent years. With City signing Josh Adam from Celtic last year as well as Rangers talent Dire Mebude to City, who recently signed his first professional contract.
And now, it appears that City are again dipping into Glasgow for an exciting talent in Mahady. Whilst the Manchester titans would have to cough up a fee for the youngster, it will unlikely be something that will break the bank.
City are well-stocked in the goalkeeper position, with Gavin Bazunu shining for both the Republic of Ireland and for Portsmouth on-loan. And Mahady could well be another name to add to the talented crop of players.
Indeed, Ederson Moraes is the undisputed number one, with Zack Steffen his debuty. However, City fans on social media are not happy with these new links to Mahady.
City fans can’t believe links to Mahady

With Bazunu thriving away from the Etihad and a striker the priority for City, supporters on social media are confused why the club are making an attempt to sign another keeper for the academy in Mahady.
Here’s what some City fans had to say on Twitter about these links to Mahady…
