Do Everton stand a chance of signing Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham now all interested?

Everton were on the hunt for a new central midfielder during the January transfer window and despite many names being linked with the club, in the end no one came through the door in the position.
Manager Sam Allardyce was heavily linked with a reunion with Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi, whom he previously signed at Blackburn Rovers, while the Mirror reports Abdoulaye Doucoure of Watford was also considered.

With James McCarthy currently sidelined after suffering a double leg break against West Bromwich Albion last month and the performances of Morgan Schneiderlin being heavily criticised, central midfield could well remain a priority area of improvement in the summer.
Yet do the Toffees have any chance of landing Doucoure with the Daily Mail claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are now interested in the 25-year-old?

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the former France Under-21 international, whom the Hornets would demand in excess of £20m for if he were to leave Vicarage Road.
Doucoure has been in impressive form for the Hertfordshire side so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 25 Premier League appearances.
