Will Steve Bruce have to change his formation to fit in Aston Villa’s attacking firepower?

Aston Villa managed to sign Chelsea centre-forward Tammy Abraham on loan this summer, but it’s unclear on how he will slot into the starting XI right now?
The 20-year-old is a highly-rated attacker that should provide extra firepower in the final third and he’s previously scored 23 goals in just 41 Championship games.
Manager Steve Bruce prefers to play with one striker leading the line and an advanced playmaker behind him, which could see Abraham battle Jonathan Kodjia for the central position.
It seems a no-brainer that Abraham will become a regular starter for Villa, with the explosive England Under-21 international possessing strength, pace and an eye for goal.
But that could come at the cost of Kodjia, who has already netted three goals so far this season in seven appearances across all competitions.

One option for Bruce to consider if to shift Kodjia out to the wing, as he’s previously featured as a left-winger before and he could battle the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Anwar El Ghazi for a starting position.
The 28-year-old is a speed machine that can terrorise defenders when he is on top form and is just longing to find some consistency.
Villa could also look to deploy a potentially deadly two-man attack of Kodjia and Abraham, but fans will have to wait until after the international break to see how Bruce accommodates all his attacking players.
