Kevin Campbell has claimed that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will try ‘all sorts’ against Granit Xhaka when Arsenal and Tottenham meet again this season, as he told the Highbury Squad.
The Arsenal legend labelled Xhaka a ‘car-crash’ footballer, who won’t change his ways.
Spurs were supposed to welcome the Gunners to their patch last month, but COVID issues resulted in the game being postponed.
The second north London derby of the 2021/22 campaign is yet to be rescheduled into the footballing calendar.
And when it does, Campbell thinks Tottenham’s anchorman in the midfield, who was dropped for their clash against Wolves on Sunday, will try to push Xhaka’s buttons.
“Can you actually rely on Xhaka,” asked Campbell. “As he said, he’s not going to change. He’s going to play his way. He doesn’t want to hear it.
“Then he goes and does silly things. He is a car crash waiting to happen, at times.
“Hojbjerg is going to try all sorts (against Xhaka when north London derby is rescheduled).”

Xhaka, 29, has already been sent off twice this season, and given his style, you probably wouldn’t want to bet against it happening again.
In truth, Arsenal don’t just have a Xhaka problem regarding displicine, but a problem throughout their squad.
Xhaka’s midfield partner, Thomas Partey also saw red during their two-legged League Cup defeat against Liverpool, whilst youngster Gabriel Martinelli was recently the latest to suffer such a punishment.
Either way, it’s a clear problem in Arsenal’s game and Mikel Arteta will be hoping it doesn’t come back to bite them in the backside.
