Cenk Tosun made his Everton debut against Tottenham on Saturday evening.

Everton icon Kevin Campbell has told the club’s official website that new signing Cenk Tosun will “bed himself into” Sam Allardyce’s side in the near future, after he made his debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The 26-year-old completed a move to Everton earlier this month for a fee believed to be worth £27million from Turkish champions Besiktas, and he started for the Toffees in Saturday’s 4-0 loss to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Withdrawn just after the hour mark and replaced by Dom Calvert-Lewin, Tosun showed a number of good touches and although he had failed to get on the score sheet, he certainly showed fans what he is about.

Former Everton striker Campbell knows what the transition is like from Turkish football to the Premier League, after moving to Goodison Park following a spell with Trabzonspor and he reckons Tosun will adapt sooner rather than later.
“It is a great piece of business for Everton to bring in somebody of international quality,” Campbell said. “Tosun is a good player, a strong player. He is blessed with good technique and knows where the goal is.
“The quicker we can get him settled in the better. He might need a couple of games to adapt but he is a top-quality striker. The Turkish league is not easy. It is not the Premier League but, believe me, it is a demanding place to play your football.
“You will see glimpses of what he can produce very quickly. Then, as long as he can bed himself in to the Club and the team, we will see the best of him before too long.”

Everton decided to splash out on Tosun after the powerful striker scored 14 goals in 24 league and cup outings for Besiktas this season, including four strikes in the Champions League.
He is expected to start for Everton on Saturday afternoon as the Toffees welcome Alan Pardew’s West Bromwich Albion to Goodison Park in a match that Allardyce will be looking for his side to win.
