Leeds United should be in the market for Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Leeds United should consider making a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Cameron Carter-Vickers, if he becomes available in the summer.
Carter-Vickers has impressed on loan spells at Sheffield United and Ipswich Town this term, and the taste of first-team football has left him wanting more.
The centre-back is set to return to Spurs for pre-season, but the youngster says that he could look to move back to the Championship, if Mauricio Pochettino does not promise him game-time.

“I want to play football so if the opportunity comes and the manager at Tottenham says he doesn’t need me and the opportunity to play football again in the Championship comes up then I will be up for it,” Carter-Vickers said to Green Un.
Leeds should now be looking to capitalise on Carter-Vickers’ potential availability, as he could strengthen their defensive options considerably.
Leeds have struggled to find a central defensive partner for Pontus Jansson all season, which has proven problematic.

The likes of Liam Cooper and Matthew Pennington have both slotted in to Leeds’ defence, but there are concerns over both, and a new centre-back is likely to be high on Paul Heckingbottom’s wishlist for the summer transfer window.
Carter-Vickers could be perfect for them, as not only would he be available on loan, but he also offers qualities that they have lacked.
Carter-Vickers is blessed with great athleticism, but he is also comfortable in possession.
And Leeds should already be considering making a move for the American, if Spurs do decide to loan him out again.
