Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan has been linked with Oxford United in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Brannagan has become frustrated with lack of first-team chances at Liverpool and will switch to League One outfit Oxford.

The 21-year-old midfielder travelled to Oxford on Monday to discuss personal terms and will sign a two-and-a-half year contract, according to the report.
The Liverpool Echo has also claimed that Liverpool will get a transfer fee of around £200,000 for the former England Under-20 international, who has been at the Reds for 16 years, having joined the club when he was just five years of age.

Brannagan has made just nine first-team appearances for Liverpool in his career so far.
The youngster made his professional debut under then Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers – who is now in charge of Scottish Premiership club Celtic – against Bordeaux in the Europa League in September 2015, as reported by The Daily Mail.
