The 20-year-old defender has already played twice for the Whites, starting against Port Vale in the first round of the EFL Cup at Elland Road last week and then against Preston North End at home in the Championship at the weekend.
The left-back has outlined the mood in the Leeds camp at the moment, which should please the Elland Road faithful.
“You can see the squad rotation the other day (in the League Cup) and the team did not look weaker,” Borthwick-Jackso told The Yorkshire Post. “Everyone is a good player and the squad is incredible so we have to push on.
“Everyone is frustrated but we have to bounce back on Tuesday and pick up the three points. Everyone has gelled well, training is competitive and everyone is trying to make everyone else better players.”
Leeds have a strong squad with competition for places in the team fierce, and this is only going to help the side as the season progresses.
The Championship is a very hard and tough domestic league, and head coach Thomas Christiansen will need all the players ready for action.
Leeds will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Fulham at Elland Road in the Championship.
