Manchester United-owned Cameron Borthwick-Jackson played for Leeds United against Preston North End at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.
Borthwick-Jackson, who joined Leeds from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, featured in the Championship game against Preston North End at the weekend.
The 20-year-old defender started the match at Elland Road and played for 82 minutes, as it finished in a goalless draw.
There were over 30,000 spectators at the game, and the United-owned left-back was impressed with the atmosphere during the 90 minutes.
Borthwick-Jackson has also given his take on the differences between the Premier League and the Championship, having played in the second tier of English football last season while on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“The atmosphere was class and, obviously, it is good to be playing again and having the manager show faith in me,” Borthwick-Jackson told The Yorkshire Post.
“I grew into the game as it went on but it was frustrating to get a little niggle towards the end. I feel I can bring more to the team.”
“Compared to the Premier League, the games come thicker and faster and it is more physical and that’s what you to get used to – becoming physically and mentally stronger,” added the youngster.
Leeds will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Fulham at Elland Road in the Championship.
Fulham are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship this season and are going to make it hard for the West Yorkshire outfit.
