Celtic teenager Calvin Miller is a very talented and promising footballer.

Miller grew up as a winger, but under Rodgers, the 19-year-old has been deployed at left-back.
The former Scotland Under-17 international, who played as a left-back against Partick Thistle, has revealed that Celtic manager Rodgers wants him to play as a wing-back.

“The gaffer (Brendan Rodgers) said he had plans to play me as a wing-back – but for the first team they are basically wingers so I didn’t really see that as a bad thing because its still the best team in Scotland and I wasn’t doing that much defending,” the teenager told The National.
“I was trying to take the positives from it because when you’re an attacker from such a young age, you don’t want to be told you’re a defender. It was a bit of a shock to the system, but I’ve seen the positives to it.”

Rodgers is a very good coach, and Miller would be wise to listen to the former Liverpool and Swansea City manager.
The 19-year-old is only just starting his career and is far from assured of a place in the first team.
The youngster, though, has shown enough promise and potential to suggest that he can develop into a superb footballer in the coming years.
For now, Miller must listen to his coaches and to Rodgers, and do as they tell him to.
Celtic are set to win the Scottish Premiership title yet again this season.
