West Ham United reportedly want to sign the Bournemouth hitman.

Manuel Pellegrini the manager

West Ham fans will be desperate for the new Premier League season to get underway.

The Hammers have already signed Pablo Fornals from Villarreal for around £24 million, but Manuel Pellegrini’s business seems to be far from finished.

The east London outfit have been heavily linked with a move for Celta Vigo hitman Maxi Gomez, according to Sky Sports, but the latest name to be linked with a switch to the London Stadium is Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

The Sun claims that West Ham are preparing a £35 million bid for the 27-year-old, and if they are successful in their pursuit of the Cherries front-man, Pellegrini will have a crazy amount of attacking talent at his disposal.

Wilson was in fine form last season, racking up 15 goals and 10 assists in 33 appearances in all competitions for Bournemouth, and he would make the Hammers a really potent force.

With Marko Arnautovic, Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals already at the club, Wilson would be the icing on the cake for West Ham, and he could be the signing that instantly turns them into a top seven side.
