Aston Villa sold Callum Robinson to Preston North End back in 2016.

Callum Robinson has spoken on how enjoyable he found returning to Villa Park last night with Preston North End.
Robinson broke through at Aston Villa as a promising youngster, but was sold by the Midlands club back in 2016.
Robinson has arguably shown that he could have played a part for Villa, given his form for Preston over recent years.
And Robinson put in another solid display, as Preston picked up a 1-1 draw with his former side last night.
The 23-year-old felt that it had been a good game between the two promotion chasing sides, and thanked the Preston fans for their backing.
With Villa currently having Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah out injured, there is an argument to suggest that he would have been a good option for Steve Bruce’s side last night.

Robinson has made 28 appearances for Preston in the Championship this term, scoring four goals and claiming four assists.
Preston’s draw with Villa has left them in ninth place in the Championship table, while Steve Bruce’s side sit in third.
