Callum McGregor isn’t buying what people are saying about Celtic’s Scott Sinclair.

Callum McGregor has rubbished suggestions that Celtic team-mate Scott Sinclair isn’t playing well, speaking to The Glasgow Evening Times.
Sinclair grabbed Celtic’s third of the afternoon on Saturday as Brendan Rodgers’s side thumped Hamilton 3-0 at Parkhead.
In doing so, the 29-year-old winger made it eight goals in his last seven games for the Hoops.
His goal return is concrete evidence of his form, but there have been suggestions from some quarters that the English attacker isn’t playing well throughout each game, despite regularly finding the net.
But they are suggestions that McGregor isn’t buying, insisting that the Celtic star is ‘unplayable’ at the best of times.
He told The Glasgow Evening Times: “He is on an excellent run. The thing with Scotty is that I keep hearing people saying that he is not playing well and yet he is scoring goals week in, week out for us.
“I think he set his standard so high in that first season when he was almost unplayable at times.
“There isn’t a player in the world who doesn’t take a dip at some point but he has always chipped in with goals and assists – I think last season he scored 17 goals for us. It’s not bad, is it?
Sinclair, who has 13 goals across all competitions so far, scooped the Premiership Player of the Year during his first season in Scotland, which ought to back up McGregor’s sentiment.
His form has been very erratic in the 18 months since then, but he’ll always get goals for Celtic and that is all that matters at the end of the day.
