Callum McGregor praises his Celtic teammates Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard.

With Celtic set to feature in the Champions League qualifiers from this week, 25-year-old Scotland international midfielder has praised strikers Dembele and Edouard.
McGregor told The Daily Record: “Odsonne and Moussa are great. When you see those two playing together, they have a real knack of knowing each other’s games.
“They have pace, power and they’re a hard two for anyone trying to defend against them.
“We know if we get the ball up to that pair as quickly as possible, they will do their thing. Playing in midfield behind them you have so many options.”

Worry for Leigh Griffiths?
Dembele and Edouard are two of the best strikers in Scotland, and the 21-year-old and the 20-year-old do indeed form a very formidable combination.
With Celtic having signed Edouard on a permanent contract from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £9 million, it is very likely that manager Brendan Rodgers will make him a key player in his starting lineup.
With the two young French strikers playing well with each other and allowing the Celtic midfield many options, as McGregor suggests, it does come as a worry for Leigh Griffiths.
Griffiths is not guaranteed a place in the Celtic starting lineup even when he is fully fit, and the Scotland international could struggle to feature regularly for the Hoops next season.
If Dembele and Edouard are able to strike up a strong partnership and score goals regularly, then it could be tough for the 27-year-old – who earns £18,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – to get too much playing time.
