Caleb Williams may be focused on football as he prepares for another pivotal season, but this week his attention briefly shifted to music.

During a recent exchange, the Chicago Bears quarterback offered an unfiltered opinion on Drake’s place in hip-hop history.

The take was delivered with confidence and zero hesitation. Maxx Crosby quickly chimed in with agreement before the conversation returned to football.

What began as a music debate soon became a moment of mutual admiration between two NFL stars.

Caleb Williams says Drake is ‘the GOAT’

Williams did not leave much room for interpretation when discussing the Canadian rapper’s legacy.

“I was just listening to Drake,” said the Bears QB. “He’s the best. He’s a legend. He’s the GOAT.”

He doubled down when the topic of criticism came up.

“No slander. He’s got the stats. He’s got the views. He has everything.”

Crosby responded simply, “Something we can agree on,” reinforcing the shared sentiment.

Williams’ argument leaned heavily on measurable dominance, pointing to Drake’s commercial success and longevity in the industry as proof of greatness.

Maxx Crosby sends strong message to Caleb Williams

After backing Williams’ Drake take, Crosby flipped the conversation toward the young quarterback himself, offering high praise for his trajectory.

“My respect is at a different level,” he explained. “You’re one of those guys for sure, and you’re just getting started.

“I don’t even know if you understand yet how good you can be, and that’s the scariest part.

“Keep that mindset. Keep doing what you’re doing. You know, we’re locked in forever. If you need me, hit me at any time. Keep f—— dominating.”

The exchange highlighted the respect between the two players, with Crosby positioning Williams as a talent still scratching the surface of his potential.
