The Leeds United forward is back from injury and ready to make up for lost time.

While Leeds United fans will be hoping it is not another false dawn, the Whites’ performance in their 2-1 victory against Middlesbrough this weekend suggested better things were on the horizon, not least with the return of Caleb Ekuban.
The summer signing showed glimpses of his ability early on before a broken foot robbed him of three months of the campaign, but he looks ready to make up for lost time now he is fully recovered from that poorly-timed setback.

Ekuban signed for Leeds in the summer, just one of a number of new faces in a sizable and exciting recruitment drive, and the 23-year-old’s work ethic and innate talent were clear to see from the outset.
A goal and an assist in an EFL Cup clash against Port Vale was the ideal start and now he has the chance to get back to what he does best.

Coming on for the last 11 minutes against Middlesbrough, the Leeds forward showed his pace and willingness to create space and it could be difficult for loanee Pierre-Michel Lasogga to get back into the starting XI if Ekuban and Roofe continue in their current vein.
Leeds fans have been craving the return of Ekuban for some time and they were not disappointed by his weekend cameo. Now he just needs to do it consistently and the sky really could be the limit, both for the player and his club.
