The 25-year-old has reportedly left Leeds United to join Trabzonspor.
Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban has posted a cryptic message on Instagram.
Ekuban joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan from Leeds last summer.
Turkish outlet Sabah reported on Friday that the Super Lig side have wrapped up a permanent deal for the 25-year-old Ghana international, who joined the Elland Road club in 2017.
Ekuban is in Ibiza on a post-season holiday, and the Italy-born striker has posted: “A good day starts always with a smile. Fresh head read for what’s next!”
It looks increasingly likely that a deal might have already been struck between Leeds and Trabzonspor.
It was previously reported that the Whites could make around £880,000 [Sabah] on a permanent deal, which nets them a profit after signing him for £500,000.
Ekuban wasn’t a big hit in England. He did win some fans for his unrelenting energy and work ethic, but he only managed two goals in over 20 appearances during the 2017-18 campaign which, for a striker, is just never going to cut the mustard, no matter how much you run.
