Injured Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban hopes to soon make a return to first team action.
The summer signing has been out with a foot injury since mid-August, and is now closing on a return.
Ekuban last night sent a message to Leeds fans via his Instagram page, emblazoned with the word ‘soon’.
It was Ekuban’s first social media post in over a month, and offers hope he could be about to return to first team training.
Ekuban has played twice this season, including a game in the Carabao Cup against Port Vale in which he scored one and provided one assist.
The summer signing from Chievo looked bright in that fixture, and Leeds will benefit from having him back available.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga has gone off the boil after providing a initial spark, and Jay-Roy Grot has also failed to shine, with Pawel Cibicki failing to convince his manager that he deserves a chance.
Ekuban could leapfrog the pair of them once fit to compete with Lasogga.
