Rangers are looking to bring Graham Dorrans to Ibrox this summer.
Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha
Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has told the club’s official YouTube channel that he was a little concerned with how his side couldn’t control possession against TNS on Monday.
The Gers took to the field in a behind-closed-doors friendly against The New Saints, and played out a 1-1 draw as an own goal from a Dalcio cross gave Rangers the lead before Alex Darlington handed TNS a draw.

With six new faces in the Rangers squad having signed Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Daniel Candeias, Dalcio and Alfredo Morelos, manager Caixinha will be focusing on integrating his additions ahead of the new league season.
On Monday, Caixinha spoke to the Rangers YouTube channel about the draw with TNS, admitting that he was largely pleased with the cohesion in his new-look side.

Caixinha did though add that he was a little concerned with how his players failed to control possession of the ball in the second half, allowing TNS to get back into the game and grab their equaliser.
“I’m really happy with the work of the boys, they are getting the process,” said Caixinha. “They know what they are doing on the pitch, not only as one line or a combination of two lines, but the whole team, so I’m very happy with that.”
“Some points are that we could hold the ball and give more control in having the ball because we didn’t have it, so the opponent came into the game and we let the opponent get into the game,” he added.

Whilst it’s only a pre-season game, the post-match comments do show that Caixinha isn’t quite happy enough with his midfield just, and whilst Carlos Pena will arrive from Chivas Guadalajara, it’s abundantly clear why Rangers are still targeting Graham Dorrans.
As reported by BBC Sport, Rangers have now had two bids ejected for Norwich City midfielder Dorrans, with Caixinha seemingly desperate to land the 30-year-old, who grew up supporting Rangers.
The Scotland international has the composure and technique on the ball to bring a calming, creative influence to the Rangers side, using the ball smartly – something with Caixinha clearly felt his side lacked on Monday afternoon.
Signing Dorrans could be the key for Rangers this summer, and after the disappointment of Joey Barton last season, Rangers do need that experienced head in the middle of the park who can pick out a pass – and Dorrans is the man for Rangers, and they must continue their pursuit of the boyhood Gers fan.
