Rangers duo Clint Hill and Philippe Senderos are reportedly set to leave Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told defenders Clint Hill and Philippe Senderos that they will be leaving the club this summer.
The two centre backs were signed by former boss Mark Warburton last summer, bringing experience to the Rangers back line.
However, Senderos has proven to be a complete disaster since arriving on a free transfer from Grasshopper, with his red card on his debut against Celtic summing up his time at Ibrox.
With just four appearances to his name, it’s no surprise that Senderos isn’t having his contract expired, though Hill’s exit is a little more of a shock.
Hill, who joined from QPR last summer, has hit six goals in 31 games this season, but the 38-year-old will be leaving Ibrox at the end of the season for pastures new, with Caixinha seemingly set to re-tool his defence.

The departures of Hill and Senderos leaves Caixinha with Rob Kiernan, Danny Wilson and youngster David Bates, with room now for defenders to come in – and two players stand out from the crowd.
The agent of Ghanaian international Rachid Sumaila, who worked under Caixinha at Al-Gharafa, told the Daily Mail that Rangers are interested in signing the 24-year-old this summer, whilst The Express believe that Caixinha’s Portuguese compatriot Bruno Alves is a target too.

Alves would bring the experience that Hill provided, with the 35-year-old Cagliari ace possessing vast experience domestically and on the international stage, whilst Sumaila offers a younger alternative to the slow and ponderous Senderos.
With both Hill and Senderos going, their departures appear to pave the way for two new defensive arrivals – and Alves and Sumaila, seemingly prime targets for manager Caixinha, look to fit the bill perfectly.
