The Glasgow Rangers youngster should play next season but develop his game slowly and effectively.

New Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has a lot of players to run the rule over after taking charge and not all of them are currently at Ibrox.
While some of the Gers players currently out on loan could return to make a sizeable impact at the club next season – most notably Matt Crooks – others will have to bide their time.
One such player is 20-year-old Jordan Thompson, who showed glimpses of his exciting talent under former Rangers boss Mark Warburton.
Two of those appearances came last season, in cameos against Alloa and Dumbarton, while he got 25 minutes in the Scottish League Cup prior to his loan move to Raith Rovers
Since then Thompson has featured 26 times for the Championship club, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process, and if Caixinha is patient with him next season the midfielder could start to develop his game enough to have a long-term future at Ibrox.
When it comes to Thompson, time is the key, and no one is expecting him to be an instant fix for the new Rangers boss.
Some forgotten players will get instant recalls while others will continue their development slowly but smartly.
If Thompson is one of them, Rangers could benefit for years to come.
