Ryan Sessegnon is one of the best and most promising young players in Europe, and there is no surprise that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have been linked with the Fulham star.

According to The Sun, Tottenham are interested in signing Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer transfer window, while Liverpool want the left-winger, claims talkSPORT.

The 17-year-old, who can also operate as a left-back, is having a great campaign and was recently named as the Championship Player of the Season.

The England Under-21 international has 15 goals and provided six assists in 44 Championship starts for Fulham this season.

As if Sessegnon’s undoubted potential and quality were not enough for Tottenham and Liverpool to step up their interest in him and makes moves in the summer transfer window, the following comments from his Fulham teammate Tom Cairney further demonstrate just how good he is and should encourage the Premier League duo to make bids for the youngster in the summer transfer window.

Cairney told The Telegraph about Sessegnon: “To do what he’s doing and to be the same every day is frightening He never gets carried away.

“The guy has scored hat-tricks, he’s won awards. He’s our top goalscorer and he’s just done his GCSEs.”

“He is not like those wonderkids who do something outrageous,” added Cairney. “I wouldn’t call him that, I would call him a proper player.

“You see the flash in the pans who come on and do some skill, but he’s not like that. He’s not going to beat five players. He’s just a very, very good player who starts games. He is so effective.”
