West Bromwich Albion are determined to bolster their midfield options this month and one player who could help join Alan Pardew’s side is Fulham’s Tom Cairney.

As reported by The Sun, West Brom have made an offer of £12 million for Cairney and are prepared to up their bid to £15 million.

Cairney has produced some excellent performances for Fulham in the Championship and is adept at retaining possession, indicating that he could be a valuable asset for West Brom if the deal does come to fruition.

Field has been widely tipped for a very bright future at West Brom and the possibility of him establishing a long-term partnership with Cairney in midfield is an intriguing one.

Such a pairing would undoubtedly make the West Brom side a more cohesive unit and indicates that bringing in Cairney would be a hugely beneficial move for the club.
