Crystal Palace face Leicester City in a crucial Premier League clash on Saturday.

To be played on Saturday 15th April 2017 at 15:00. Venue: Selhurst Park, London

Odds: C. Palace 3/4, Draw 14/5, Leicester 7/2

Sam Allardyce has made a great reputation of overachieving with relegation threatened teams all his career. And he is doing the same with Crystal Palace as well.

Palace had a tough run in, and just when everybody thought they might struggle, they sealed two fantastic victories against two Premier League heavyweights – Chelsea and Arsenal – in their last three matches.

The 3-0 victory against Arsenal was a massive win, and the result meant Palace have won five of their last six games. Needless to say, their confidence will be high when they face the defending champions on Saturday.

A victory over Leicester would not only see them leapfrogging the Foxes, but it could also take them to top half of the league to the top half of the league, should results go their way elsewhere.

Patrick van Aanholt and Fraizer Campbell are doubts for this match, while Jonathan Benteke, Connor Wickham, Steve Mandanda, James Tomkins, Scott Dann and Loic Remy will all miss out.

Craig Shakespeare could make a number of changes to the starting XI keeping in mind Leicester’s crucial Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid next week.

The likes of Ahmed Musa, Daniel Amartey, Andy King, Demarai Gray and Islam Slimani could start against Palace. Wes Morgan is still out injured, while Shakespeare will be without Molla Wague and Nampalys Mendy.

Leicester have won their last three games against Palace in all competitions, but have failed to win 16 of their last 17 away matches.
