Arsenal face Manchester United this weekend in what is a real throwback to the early 2000s.

For the first time in almost a decade, Arsenal vs Man United genuinely feels like a huge game in the title race, and the tension is palpable heading into this match.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, Gary Neville has now predicted who will win Sunday’s crunch clash, and his prediction may shock a few.

Indeed, while Neville is openly a United fan, he says that he expects Arsenal to beat the Red Devils this weekend after Casemiro picked up a suspension for his fifth yellow card against Crystal Palace in midweek.

Neville thinks Arsenal will win

The Sky pundit says that he expects Arsenal to get the better of United.

“I would expect City to win tonight and I would expect City to win against Wolves on Sunday. But now I think with Casemiro out for Manchester United I also expect Arsenal to win. We have one hell of a title race coming up. Arsenal are in great form, and they’re playing great football, it’s just whether their squad is big enough to cope with it. We still have 20 games left,” Neville said.

A huge miss

Neville seemed to suggest that he’s changed his prediction due to Casemiro’s absence, and, to be honest, we can understand why.

This is a fixture that could very well be decided by the battle in the midfield, and Casemiro’s absence will be felt massively.

With all due respect, Scott McTominay just isn’t up to the level of the Brazilian, and with both Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey in fine form this season, the Scot may struggle to cope with what Arsenal have to offer.

This should be a fantastic game, but given Casemiro’s suspension and the fact it’s at the Emirates you have to make Arsenal favourites for this match.
