Southampton midfielder Jake Hesketh has been in brilliant form away from St. Mary’s.

Burton Albion’s official Twitter account’s message to Southampton suggests that they will do everything in their power to sign Jake Hesketh from them.
Southampton loanee Hesketh wrote his name into Burton folklore last night, as he scored the goal which put them into the Carabao Cup semi-final.
The Saints youngster finished well to score the only goal in the game, when the League One side knocked out Middlesbrough.
After the game Southampton were quick to message Hesketh to congratulate him on his strike, but Burton suggested that they would not be letting him return to St. Mary’s without a fight.
Whether Burton would have the resources available to actually sign Hesketh from Southampton remains to be seen.
The midfielder has made a big impression with the Brewers, but Southampton have now changed management.
Ralph Hasenhuttl may well want to take a look at Hesketh for himself, before deciding on the youngster’s future.
Burton will find out who they face in the League Cup semi-final later this evening, when the draw is made.
