Arsenal scored in the 93rd minute to beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor.
Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton has discussed the positives his side can take from the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph.
A spirited performance from Burnley looked like it was going to be enough to earn a point against Arsene Wenger’s side, but a late and controversial goal from Laurent Koscielny gave the Gunners victory in a game that they probably did not deserve three points.

Despite defeat, the Burnley captain has been talking about the positive aspects of their performance, rather than dwelling on losing it in the 93rd minute via a handball.
“I thought we had some fantastic chances as well. It’s not been a ‘park the bus’ performance; I thought we played some good stuff,” said Heaton to the Lancashire Telegraph.
“We’ve gone toe-to-toe with one of the top teams in the league, we’ve defended well and attacked well at times.
“We went about it superbly. We’ll take an awful lot of belief and momentum which is something that we’ve been looking to build on.”

It seemed as though Burnley were going to gain a well-deserved point against Arsenal, and it will have been a bitter pill to swallow due to the illegal manner of the winner, but it is a performance that Sean Dyche’s men can take into the rest of the season, showing they can hang with the top teams, and not just sit back and defend for their lives.
The Clarets could have won it themselves, with centre back Michael Keane heading against the bar.
The defeat leaves Burnley in 14th with seven points from their opening seven games, but their performance against Arsenal has suggested that Dyche’s team could be okay this season.
