As Burnley continue their decent season thus far, we should all be applauding how well they have performed in the Premier League.
Whilst things have not gone perfectly for Burnley so far this season, they have certainly improved upon their past campaigns in the Premier League as we enter a busy December period. They currently find themselves in 13th and if their first set of performances are anything to go by, they should see survival as an extremely realistic possibility.
The important thing to take into consideration for the Clarets is their perseverance. Following their previous relegation under Sean Dyche the club dusted themselves down, re-evaluated their situation and improved in a number of ways in order to reach the top flight once again.

Now that they’re back, they have experience under their belt both in terms of their squad and the league itself. They were written off as prime relegation candidates at the start of the season but they have just kept quiet, gone about their business and picked up big results when everyone least expected it.
Things have been difficult this year, too. For every big win over Everton and Liverpool there has been a string of poor results, and just recently they lost three on the bounce before their victory over Bournemouth.

Momentum is a hard thing to gather in this division, and the fact they were able to rebound from those defeats and grind out a victory is a testament to the work Dyche has done with this squad.
They refuse to give up and don’t seem to let any loss truly affect them, which will bode well as we enter a hectic and important time in the season.
