The Bournemouth hitman would be an excellent addition for Burnley.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche once again has his work cut-out at Turf Moor this summer, as he looks to bring genuine quality into the club on what is a limited budget in comparison to the rest of the Premier League.
They could be in a stronger position financially, however, if they decide upon selling Andre Gray, after the Mirror reported that Everton were interested in the 26-year-old for £10 million.
If, and when Gray leaves Burnley, Dyche will obviously have to replace him with an established hitman, and an interesting option for them could be Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe, who has been linked with a move to his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to the Daily Mail.

The 24-year-old joined the Cherries from Wolves in January 2016, for a fee believed to be in the region of £10 million, but has struggled to establish himself at the vitality Stadium, making just 26 Premier League starts for Eddie Howe’s side.
His chances of receiving regular game-time will be limited even further still, following Jermain Defoe’s arrival on the south coast this summer, so a move away might be on the cards for Afobe.
He proved his class during his spell at Molineux, when he scored 22 goals in 46 Championship outings, and whilst the Premier League represents an obvious step up in quality, there is no reason why the former Arsenal man cannot be a real asset to the Clarets.
He is quick off the mark, incredibly direct in the manner that he plays the game, and would offer Burnley so much more potency in forward areas to what they currently possess.
Whether Bournemouth are actually open to selling him remains to be seen, but they would surely be tempted if the Lancashire outfit were to make an offer in the region of what the Cherries paid for him.
And if Dyche manages to bring Afobe to Turf Moor this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Burnley.
