Paul Merson has predicted Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United to win against Burnley in the Premier League this weekend, as quoted on SportsKeeda.
The former Arsenal and Aston Villa star has backed Leeds to pick up all three points at Turf Moor courtesy of a 2-1 victory.
The Sky Sports pundit was impressed by the way the Whites played against Everton in the Premier League last weekend.
Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “This is another good game in the Premier League this weekend.
“Leeds United will want to open up the game and play on the front foot, while Burnley will play their usual 4-4-2 and adopt a more direct approach to the game.
“Leeds did well to salvage a point against Everton and I really love watching them play, but Burnley won’t be pushovers, as they gave a good account of themselves despite losing 2-0 to Liverpool last weekend in the Premier League.
“It’s a tough one to call, but I think Leeds will win and record their first three points of the season.”
A footnote said: “Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Leeds United”.

Who will win Burnley v Leeds United?
Leeds did well against Everton last weekend and also won in the EFL Cup in midweek.
On the other hand, Burnley are struggling at the moment.
However, playing at home will give the Clarets an advantage, and Leeds need to be careful.
The Whites will play their usual high-pressing and high intensity game, but they need to be careful defensively.

Just look at what happened against Manchester United.
Burnley are a strong and physical side, but that should not really trouble Leeds.
After all, the Whites are one of the fittest teams in the Premier League.
Patrick Bamford will be a big player in the game.
The English striker will have to take the chances he gets against Burnley and make his presence count.
