Burnley hitman Sam Vokes has been linked with a move to Stoke City, with the Daily Mail reporting that £9 million could be enough to prise him away from Turf Moor, and some Clarets fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The 29-year-old joined Burnley from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2012, and he has gone on to score 62 goals in 258 appearances in all competitions for the Lancashire outfit.

He is popular figure at Turf Moor, because of the 100 per cent commitment and determination that he always showcases without fail.

Considering Vokes’ poor record in front of goal, however, Sean Dyche might just be tempted into sanctioning his exit for £9 million.
