Aston Villa are said to be keen on Tom Heaton of Burnley, as Dean Smith looks for a new goalkeeper.

Burnley fans do not want Tom Heaton sold to Aston Villa, after reports of a £7 million bid emerged in The Sun.
Villa are said to be considering moving for Heaton after deeming Jack Butland to be too expensive.
However, Burnley supporters think that Villa’s offer isn’t good enough.
Villa are known to be looking for a new goalkeeper, even though they have extended Jed Steer’s contract.
Steer has kept goal for Villa ever since Dean Smith took charge, but there is a feeling that he could be upgraded this summer.
Heaton has proven during his time with Burnley that he is a very reliable stopper at Premier League level.
The 33-year-old helped Burnley climb the table last term, after he was brought back into the team following a shaky start.
Burnley are well stocked in goal with Nick Pope and Joe Hart also currently at Turf Moor.
