Burnley fans appear to believe that Everton have made a mistake buying Michael Keane for them, as James Tarkowski has been even better so far.
Tarkowski has been one of the stars of Burnley’s season – with his rock solid performances at the back earning him great praise.
And Burnley supporters have criticised Everton for paying over the odds for Keane, after the centre-back struggled badly last weekend.
Everton were beaten 1-0 by Burnley in their most recent outing, and Keane’s performance was below par.
The England international has struggled in Everton’s back line to date, with the Toffees’ results proving very disappointing.
Everton are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table, despite spending vast amounts of funds on their starting line-up.
And now Keane and his new Everton teammates are under pressure to improve in the coming weeks, if they are to live up to expectations this season.
