The Nottingham Forest striker has been strongly linked with moves to Burnley and Middlesbrough, but former club Watford may have also entered the running to sign him.
Burnley and Middlesbrough appear to have competition from Watford for Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga.
The two sides have been strongly linked with moves for Assombalonga in recent weeks, and had been leading the race with bookmaker Sky Bet.

But Burnley’s Premier League rivals Watford have suddenly had their odds cut to 8/11, leapfrogging old boss Sean Dyche’s side [5/2] and Middlesbrough [4/1].
Watford have already dipped into the Championship market once this summer, landing Will Hughes from Forest’s rivals Derby County.
And Assombalonga, who began his career at Vicarage Road, could be ideal as the Hornets look to replace former AC Milan loanee M’Baye Niang up front.
The 24-year-old scored 14 goals from 20 starts for Forest last season, and is said to be valued at £15 million by his current employers.

Burnley are also in the market for a new striker with Andre Gray likely to leave, while Middlesbrough boss Garry Monk is looking to add more firepower to his promotion-chasing squad.
