Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to re-sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham want to bring back Bale, having sold him to Spanish and European giants Madrid in the summer of 2013.
It has been reported that the Wales international winger has agreed terms with Madrid president Florentino Perez about his departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Former Chelsea midfielder Burley believes that Spurs should not try to sign the 28-year-old winger from Madrid.
Burley told ESPN when asked if Spurs should try to bring back Bale: “No.”

Bale developed well at Tottenham and established himself as one of the best players in the world during his time at White Hart Lane.
The former Southampton star remains one of the best footballers on the planet, but injuries have stunted his progress at Madrid.
The Welshman would be a massive signing for Tottenham, but would the North London outfit be able to afford his wages?
Moreover, would Bale be interested in playing for Spurs again, having been a huge success in his first spell, and running the risk of somewhat affecting his legacy?
