Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was impressed by his former Gunners teammate Joe Willock this weekend, as he posted a message with emojis on the Newcastle United midfielder’s Instagram.
Newcastle got the better of Southampton 4-1 away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Former Arsenal midfielder Willock was among the goalscorers for the Magpies.
The 23-year-old found the back of the net in the 62nd minute.
The win against the Saints means that Newcastle are now third in the Premier League table.
Eddie Howe’s side have picked up 27 points from 14 matches.
Defending champions Manchester City are second in the Premier League table with 32 points from 13 matches.
Saka’s Arsenal are top with 34 points from 13 games.

Willock played with Saka at Arsenal before his move to Newcastle, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis for £25 million (SkySports).
Arsenal and England international Saka seems pleased to see Willock do well for Newcastle, according to his emoji message on his Instagram post.
Now, Saka need not have made any post, but that the Arsenal younger did shows that he is still following the career of Willock.
As you can see from the post below, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, Partner at PCP Capital Partners, has also responded to Willock’s post.
