Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has hailed the confidence of striker Eddie Nketiah after his hat-trick against Sheffield United.
Eddie Nketiah works so hard in Arsenal training and is now playing with incredible confidence.
That is the verdict of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, who has hailed Nketiah after a memorable weekend.
Nketiah smashed his first Premier League hat-trick on Saturday afternoon, helping Arsenal beat Sheffield United 5-0.
Two goals inside the box set Nketiah and Arsenal on their way before he completed his hat-trick with a powerful long-range strike.
Bukayo Saka hails Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah
Nketiah had gone nine games without a goal for Arsenal, so getting back in the goals will have been a relief for him.
Gabriel Jesus is now on the sidelines again and that leaves Nketiah leading the line for Arsenal.
Saka is now offering major praise for Nketiah having seen him make a big impact over the weekend.
Saka told Arsenal’s official website that Nketiah’s third goals was ‘unbelievable’, highlighting that he is playing with serious confidence right now.
The Arsenal wide man added that Nketiah works ‘so hard’ in training and the whole Arsenal squad see it even if supporters don’t get to witness his work ethic at London Colney.
“Three great goals, especially the last one. It was unbelievable. That’s a man playing with confidence and hopefully he can continue to play like that,” said Saka.
“He’s also a man who works so hard, day in, day out. Not everyone sees it but I see it and if you ask the boys, they see it. He deserves this moment and he needs to enjoy it tonight for sure,” he added

My view: Saka and Nketiah a big success for Hale End
Every fan loves to see young players coming through and Arsenal have seen that with Saka and Nketiah.
Saka is an absolute superstar and it’s hard to imagine a Mikel Arteta side without Saka involved.
Nketiah hasn’t quite hit the same heights and there are still some question marks over him as a truly top-level striker.
Nketiah is though contributing in the Premier League and a hat-trick will have been a proud moment for the Hale End academy.
Add in that Emile Smith Rowe featured against Sheffield United too, and the Arsenal youth ranks had a weekend to proud of as they continue to develop real talent.
